  • Dr. Farid Mammad-zadeh

    After receiving his medical education in 2006, he started a private medical practice. Currently, he specializes in aesthetic restorations in the first aesthetic dentistry center in Azerbaijan. He is the author of some courses, suсh as "Aesthetic restoration of anterior and posterior teeth", "Fundamentals of adhesive dentistry and cariesology". He also gave some lessons at Azerbaijan Medical University. Dr. Farid Mammadzadeh received theoretical and practical training at "Tokyo Medical University". He lectures in these fields in Azerbaijan and abroad. At the same time, he has authored individual courses on restorative dentistry and morphology of natural teeth for residents and physicians.

  • Dr. Hikmat Bakhishov

    After graduating with honors from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2008, he began his professional journey as a general dentist in both public and private oral health centers across Azerbaijan. From the earliest stages of his career, Dr. Bakhishov showed a keen interest in periodontal regeneration and soft tissue management, which led him to pursue advanced academic studies abroad.

    He completed his PhD at the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey. His doctoral research, a randomized clinical trial comparing soft tissue grafting techniques, was published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology—one of the most respected journals in the field. In parallel, he completed a Master’s program in Periodontology at the prestigious Heidelberg University’s Kopfklinik Hospital in Germany.

    Dr. Bakhishov is internationally active, having presented his research at major congresses such as EuroPerio, CED-IADR, the International Osteology Symposium, and the European Association for Osseointegration. His work has contributed significantly to the development of soft tissue surgical protocols, particularly in the treatment of multiple gingival recessions using the tunnel technique.

    In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Bakhishov has held academic roles and authored several peer-reviewed scientific articles. His expertise includes periodontal plastic surgery, implant-supported rehabilitation, ridge augmentation, and mucogingival esthetics. He has developed and co-authored clinical guidelines on dental procedures during the COVID-19 outbreak and participated in research projects funded by Gazi University.

    He holds memberships in respected professional bodies, including the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), International Team for Implantology (ITI), and Azerbaijan Periodontology Society (PerioAz). Through these affiliations, he continues to contribute to the advancement of evidence-based dentistry.

    Currently, Dr. Bakhishov practices as a periodontist and implantologist, focusing on comprehensive treatment planning and soft tissue management. His approach combines academic precision with advanced clinical techniques, offering patients high-level care rooted in both science and artistry.
